Mayday Trippe (they/them) is a non-binary author, illustrator, and character designer from North Georgia, best known for Something Terrible, a critically-acclaimed autobiographical comic about childhood trauma and recovery with the help of superhero stories. Mayday is also the lead character designer for the cast of Nightcare, an ongoing creator-owned comic series written by Scott Fogg.
Mayday also illustrated part of the Eisner and Harvey award-winning anthology, Comic Book Tattoo, worked with Marvel Comics icon Stan Lee on an all-ages superhero comic, Chakra: The Invincible, and co-founded the popular superhero redesign fanart blog Project: Rooftop.
